Amalgamated Helicopters is a family business locally owned and operated by Directors: Jason & Sally Diedrichs, Jason – Director & Chief Pilot, Sally – Director & CEO, Management Personal: Jarod & Chrissy Angland, Jarod -Senior Pilot and Agricultural Operations Manager, Chrissy – Company Accountant & Office Manager
Loader Drivers - Damien Bolger and Jarrod (Mot) Franklin both of whom are also Commercial Pilots extending there training with AHNZL.

The Company was formed in the mid eighties; the main activity at that time was live deer capture and recovery, over the years AHNZL has diversified into all types of commercial work evolving into the Wairarapa's Leading Commercial Helicopter Operators, the company has developed and maintained an excellent working relationship with all the main utilities providers and the rural community in the Wairarapa region.

In 2006 we were one of 4 operators nationwide invited by Civil Aviation Authority & Video NZ to become involved in producing a DVD production called Safety Around Helicopters.(you can purchase a copy on our apparel pg)
